Fresh off of their Carnegie Hall/New York City performance tour, the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony is poised to launch their 35th season of music-making.

AYWS is the place talented musicians learn they have a future in their passion.  Our members are among the most advanced pre-college age wind and percussion instrumentalists in the nation, known for performing complex literature at collegiate and professional levels--from traditional classics to new works, often commissioned by AYWS.

Many of our members move on to prestigious colleges, universities, schools of music, and conservatories, and later to the workforce in all areas of industry.  For generations to come, they are the creative artists woh will make music matter.
