Your help allows us to provide an unparalleled program of music education and performance opportunities – something we’ve been doing with the support of the community since 1988. We are lucky to partner with local schools to provide a supplementary opportunity to those found in the great instrumental music programs across the Metro Atlanta area. We provide these opportunities through ticket sales, member fees, and gifts from businesses, foundations, and individuals like you!
Because of your support, the AYWS is able to provide positive and transformative musical experiences for talented high school musicians through high-quality instruction and exceptional music-making opportunities. Through the years, generous gifts from parents, alumni, music educators and friends have supported this incredible ensemble in a multitude of ways – funding performances at New York City’s legendary Carnegie Hall and the Midwest Clinic in Chicago, enabling the purchase of high-quality instruments for student use, providing scholarships for those who need financial assistance, and more.
